Overview
Liquor Accords are a government led initiative driven and supported by local licensees, Liquor and Gaming NSW, NSW Police, local councils and other community organisations.
Membership of the Accord is voluntary for those who do NOT have as a condition of the liquor licence however strongly encouraged for all venues that operate under a liquor licence. Local liquor accords are designed to assist all licensees/ approved managers, hotel staff and security personnel from hotels, clubs, bottle shops, small bars, cafes, restaurants, liquor wholesalers and other license holders.
The Flemington Liquor Accord provides a voluntary service to assist enhance and promote communication amongst all stakeholders in the community and proactively address ways to improve the operation of licensed venues. The end goal is that venues and precincts are safe and enjoyable environments for both residents and visitors.
